What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for young Christian adults who are interested in and serious about their and others’ walk with God to move to the area and become an active part of our congregation. We are looking for people who are willing to use their talents to further God’s Kingdom.

Monticello is a wonderful, safe community of about 6,000. This combined with being between two larger cities makes us a diverse community. Many professionals live here and commute.

About Us:

The church in Monticello is a main stream congregation. We consider ourselves neither liberal nor legalistic. We are active in a variety of works and as we grow want to ad others. We have a good working relationship with our sister congregations in Central Illinois.

Some of the things we are involved in include:

  • Annual clothing Give-A-Way
  • Mission trips national/international
  • Annual Cocoa Give-A-Way
  • Nursing Home Bible Class
  • Women’s Valentine Dinner
  • Central Illinois Youth Series
  • Illinois Christian Camp
  • VBS’
  • Food pantry

We are a small congregation of 45-50. We range in age from 2 to 82 and have a diverse background. Many of the members have degrees. Check out or website to learn more.
